PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Osage County Wind is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in June 2012
  • Less than 100 acres of land utilized by the project footprint
  • $30 million in total property taxes to Osage County over 30 years
  • Stimulated local economy during construction with $1.5 million in business activity
  • Creation of 250 onsite construction jobs and 12-15 permanent operations and maintenance jobs
  • Generates enough electricity to power over 40,000 homes annually
  • $25 million in landowner payments over 25 years
