PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

• Built site on Coal Creek Mountain, a former strip mining site
• Hired local mining labor with knowledge and experience to complete the project with no personal injuries
• Facilitated development of helicopter landing area to provide emergency help at top of mountain
• Provided ongoing energy, environmental, and economic benefits:
• Generates enough electricity to power approximately 7,991 homes annually
• Offsets the combustion of approximately 36,925 tons of coal per year, which reduces the equivalent of 4,860 tons of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere annually
• Provides income to local landowners through annual lease payments
