Selective Non-Catalytic Reaction (SNCR)

SNCR involves injection of ammonia or urea into the upper part of the furnace to convert NOx produced during combustion into N2. SmartBurn uses Applied Computational Modeling (ACM) to specify injector location, spray droplet characteristics, and determine the amount of chemical optimization. SmartBurn injection system design is built to include injection skids, injector lances, nozzle selections, and injection P&ID control system.
